This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women of the Virgin Islands and around the country who paid the ultimate sacrifice to defend our nation.

Since our great grandfathers went to Washington to demand we be a part of the draft to defend our nation during WWII, thousands of Virgin Islanders have served in our armed forces - including Stacey’s father and uncles - yet we can’t vote for our Commander in Chief.

It’s a humbling reminder that freedom isn’t free. We have to fight for it.
