A common misconception about Groundwork Project is that, like some other funders, we simply cut a check to our grantees and call it a day.

Well folks, that couldn’t be further from the truth!

In fact, Groundwork Project provides something we like to call “wrap-around support” to our grantees.

In a moment, I’m going to ask you to pitch in today so we can meet our end-of-month fundraising goal, [[link removed]] but first, I hope you’ll give me a moment to explain what exactly wrap-around support means.

In short, wrap-around support means our team is available 24/7, 365 to help our grantees with whatever they need.

We like to break it down into three categories:

💰 Capital: Our grants and mini-grants fall under this category and give organizers the funds they need to complete projects and fulfill their mission.

🤝 Community: We’re fostering an engaged, diverse cross-state grantee network that organizers use to build a national support system and share challenges, victories, and best practices with other organizers who know what it’s like to work in such tough places.

📊 Capacity: So much happens under the hood to keep these organizations running, and we’re here to help our grantees with things like data management, volunteer recruitment, social media, and more.

As you can see, Groundwork Project is here to not only help provide funding for our grantees, but to help with all of these other factors. That way, our grantees can dedicate the majority of their time to making progress.

But in order for our wrap-around support to continue, we need to meet our fundraising goals like the one coming up this Wednesday night. So I’m humbly asking, folks: Can you pitch in to help us meet our end-of-month fundraising goal? Any amount helps. [[link removed]]
