It’s Memorial Day, a day to reflect on the many brave military personnel who fought and died for our liberty. We know: they fought to protect the American way of life we each hold dear.
Our country’s men and women in uniform have done so much to protect our rights and liberties both here in the U.S. and abroad, and one important reason behind this national holiday is to ensure that we never take this reality for granted.
This Memorial Day, I hope you find time to celebrate with your friends and family after taking some time to reflect on the immeasurable sacrifices our fallen heroes have made for our freedom.
And above all, I hope you commit to doing what you can to protect our freedoms they fought for on the battlefield: Our right to live as we wish, to vote, to choose, and to feel safe in our communities.
We owe that to the many that have fought and died for our country.
