Please join me today in taking a moment to pay tribute to our fallen servicemembers who valiantly gave their lives for our country.
As a Veteran and member of the Armed Services Committee, I know firsthand the grave sacrifices we ask our brave men and women to make in order to protect our freedoms. I will continue the fight to ensure our Veterans receive the benefits and opportunities they deserve, and will never forget those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for us.
Memorial Day is day for solemn remembrance, and I appreciate you joining me in honoring those we have lost and all of those who have sacrificed so much for our country.
