It is on this solemn occasion that we pay tribute to the service members who laid down their lives to safeguard our liberty and uphold the very ideals upon which the United States was built. Their selflessness and unwavering dedication deserve our unending gratitude. The price paid for our freedom stands as a testament to the bravery of a select few. I am forever humbled by their sacrifice.

Let us not simply acknowledge their valor, but let us also recommit ourselves to the principles for which they fought so valiantly. Today, my thoughts are with the families who have experienced the profound loss of their loved ones in service to our country, and I offer my heartfelt prayers for the safety of those who continue to face danger in defense of our nation.
