Dear Members and Associates,

This year Minnesota has switched to a primary for nominating our candidate for President. But we still have a caucus a week before the primary on February 25 (details below). It is important for the left to have as many people as we can participate in the caucus and volunteer to be a delegate. As a local delegate you can help endorse candidates, vote on resolutions, and vote on officers for the local DFL.

The first training is today at UMD, 5 PM at Kirby Rafters, by Duluth for Clean Water. The second training opportunity is February 20th, 5:30 pm, AICHO (202 W. 2nd St) by the Sierra Club.

The inimitable Libby Bent and Joel Sipress will be facilitating, and sharing how we can continue building power together around a healthy future for Duluth. And we'll have pizza!

Caucusing is more fun with friends.
If you're willing to caucus or even thinking about it, THIS is the group to connect with. All are welcome, and no experience required. Whether you're a veteran caucus goer, or you're interested in coming to your first one, you'll leave this event feeling much more prepared and ready to take part in democracy at its finest. We'll meet in The Rafters, 3rd Floor of Kirby Student Center at UMD. More info below.

Thursday, February 20th: SierraAction Caucus Training at AICHO, 202 W 2nd St, from 5:30 to 7pm. RSVP requested, and more information is here.
