John, 

This Memorial Day, I want to take a moment to reflect on the profound sacrifices made by our brave men and women in uniform, as well as the tremendous strength displayed by their friends and family. 

Memorial Day serves as a solemn reminder that freedom and liberty come at a great cost, and it’s a time to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Let’s pause to reflect on that sacrifice, their patriotism, and the immeasurable impact they’ve had on our nation. It’s our duty to ensure their memory lives on and to continue supporting Veterans and active-duty military personnel who carry on their legacy.

I remain committed to advocating for policies that support our soldiers, their families, and Veterans once they return home. 

I encourage you to participate in local Memorial Day events in your community, and I hope you enjoy the day off with friends and family!
