Today, as Americans endure the consequences of failed public policy from self-serving politicians and suffer the overreach of arrogant government into our lives and liberty, this Memorial Day offers us a solemn moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by hundreds of thousands of our fellow Americans.
On this 155th celebration of Memorial Day, in the 247th year since our Declaration of Independence, we pause to remember, to honor, and to thank those men and women who died to defend the principles of our nation against all enemies.
Because of their sacrifice, we stand today to fight for our waning freedoms, defending the principles those brave Americans believed in, died for, and left for us to uphold.
May God Bless Them, Our Nation, and Our Common Cause.
