Activate or reactive your membership and join Higher Heights for America members from across the country for the next installment of our winter webinar series #BlackWomenLead: The Road to the Primaries and Beyond. This Sunday, February 9th, join us for a conversation with our endorsed candidate, Amanda Edwards for the U.S. Senate, representing Texas. 

Amanda is an accomplished attorney who served on the Houston City Council representing 2.3 million constituents. A Texas native, she is a grassroots leader with a long history of fierce community advocacy.  One of Edwards’ guiding principles is, “be the solution.” When Hurricane Harvey hit Texas in 2017, Edwards did just that by organizing hundreds of volunteers to provide ongoing relief efforts for Houston’s most vulnerable.

This is exactly the type of leadership we need representing the great state of Texas in Washington!
