When I think about the brave men and women who have laid down their lives to defend our most sacred freedoms, I’m left with one thought.

Now it’s up to us.

When I think about the brave men and women who have laid down their lives to defend our most sacred freedoms, I’m left with one thought.

I’m immensely grateful for those who fought for liberty before me. Now, it’s up to us.

We have been left with a precious gift. Will we squander it, or will we walk in the footsteps of these patriots and safeguard liberty for future generations?

One of the blessings of my role at Convention of States is that I often meet with local groups of grassroots patriots across the nation.

Many of them are veterans who tell me similar stories:

“Mark, when I joined the military, I took an oath to defend the U.S. Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic. I may be retired now, but I’m still committed to that oath. I took that oath for my lifetime, not just for my time in service. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping with Convention of States — it’s our best bet to curb the biggest threat I see to our Constitution today… the federal government.”

The federal government continues to make bold moves to undercut our constitutional rights and subvert our nation with its progressive agenda.

But our Founding Fathers left us a lifeline in Article V so that we can continue to defend our constitutional freedoms, without a bloody revolution.

Right now, we’re more than halfway to calling just such an Article V Convention where the states can propose ironclad amendments that put the feds back in their constitutional box.

Amendments that could do things like impose term limits on members of Congress and place spending and taxation restraints on the federal government.

It only takes 34 states to call the convention, 19 have already joined the call, and more states are currently considering the COS Resolution. Now is the time to push forward to victory.

In honor of Memorial Day, a generous patriot has offered to match every donation made before midnight on May 31st, up to $75,000. ([link removed])

I think Ronald Reagan said it best, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
