Today, I’d like to take a moment to thank all of the individuals who gave their lives for our country. Their courage deeply inspires me. We will always honor and remember those Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice, along with the families of those who have lost their loved ones.

My grandfathers served time in our nation’s armed forces, and I am endlessly proud of their service to our country during World War II.

This Memorial Day, I’m reflecting on all those who made the ultimate sacrifice to serve and protect our country and all the ways our Comptroller’s office can better assist service members and their families.

I hope you and your loved ones have a happy and meaningful Memorial Day.
