This is a day for solemn contemplation of what it costs to be free. Delawareans all over are grateful to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. It is our commitment to preserve and protect our democracy in their honor, a pledge on which, Delaware Democratic Party stands firm.
As we gather with our loved ones this long weekend and welcome summer, take a moment to reflect on how fortunate we are and remember the sacrifices made by those that got us here.
