The call for Democratic primary debates is quickly gaining steam.

A petition originally launched by a group of dedicated volunteers for Marianne now has over 6,200 signatures. So we’re asking our supporters to help us reach 10K before the end of May.

In the 2020 election, the party organized a total of 11 primary debates giving voters the opportunity to hear from EVERY candidate and decide for themselves.

That’s how democracy is supposed to work, right?

But when Politico asked DNC Executive Director Sam Cornale all the way back in August how the DNC would cope with a primary challenge to Biden, he answered bluntly: “We're with Biden. Period.”

America is not a monarchy, and presidents are not kings. Voters should be the ones to decide who the Democratic nominee will be – and voters deserve to know all of their options.

Debates are democracy. The entire point of a primary is to allow voters to choose the candidate who best represents their values and who they trust to represent their interests in office.

And for a rapidly growing number of Americans, their choice is Marianne Williamson.

If the DNC refuses to listen to the people and host a debate, we will pursue options to schedule a debate without them – and your grassroots support will be instrumental in making that possible.
