John,

In just a moment, I’m going to ask if you can pitch in to support my work in Arizona ahead of our end-of-month fundraising deadline.

But first, I wanted to tell you a little more about my story.

As a young girl growing up in Tempe, my family struggled. During periods of financial uncertainty, my family relied on support from food stamps and our local church to make ends meet.

My parents taught me the value of a dollar and the dignity of hard work, and after seeing the impact of community support and government assistance programs on my own family, I developed a deep passion for public service.

I started volunteering at my church, and my first job after college was working at a homeless shelter. Soon after, I went on to help run one of the largest domestic violence shelters in the country.

Every day, I saw so many hard-working families like mine struggling to get by, pay their medical bills, and provide for their kids. Arizonans were paying the price for the failures of our past elected officials — and I was fed up.

I knew that to change our government, we needed to change the people working within it. So I decided to run for office, and I haven’t lost an election since.

Now, I’m using every bit of my power as Governor to deliver solutions to everyday Arizonans.

This month, I signed Arizona’s bipartisan state budget that makes historic investments in addressing our housing crisis, improving our infrastructure, funding public education, and expanding health insurance access to thousands of kids throughout Arizona.

But I can’t do this work alone. I’m counting on the support of this grassroots team to continue building an Arizona for everyone. Can you pitch in $10, or any amount before our end-of-month deadline to help me make even more progress for Arizonans?
