[ [link removed] ]raise the wage
Dear PFAW Member –
In the last ten years, the minimum wage hasn’t increased even a cent.
However, that hasn’t stopped inflation from driving up the cost of living,
making it nearly impossible to work two minimum wage jobs and still pay
rent at the end of the month.
It’s beyond time we did something about it.
[ [link removed] ]Sign the petition and tell Congress it’s time to raise the minimum
wage!>>
Raising the minimum wage would help reduce income inequality. Economists
have shown that maintaining the $7.25 minimum wage is a core driver of
income inequality in this country; a dollar is worth less and less every
year and yet we’re still paying minimum wage workers the same amount they
were making in 2009.^1
Elections and policies should be decided by the people, not by
corporations and the wealthy. We must have common sense rules for the
raising and spending of money on elections to advance political equality
for all Americans.
Every person deserves to be able to provide for their family. Increasing
the minimum wage is the least we can do to ease that burden.
