I joined Rep. Lee's campaign because I truly believe in her. She has proven time and time again that she will never shy away from a hard fight – and at a moment when so many of our fundamental rights are being trampled on, we need a fighter like Barbara Lee in the Senate.

John, these last few months have been incredible. From the moment I launched my Senate campaign earlier this year, support from progressive fighters in every corner of the nation began to pour in, and we've built a solid foundation for my historic run for Senate.

Now, with more than $1 million raised in just over a month, we are sending a powerful message to all that America is ready to have a Black woman in the Senate once again – especially one with decades of experience fighting for progress. 

But we have a problem: Election analysts are estimating that this will be one of the most expensive Senate primaries in history – and on top of that, I started this race at a MASSIVE fundraising disadvantage.
