Hi there, it’s Natalie here! I hate to bother you on a Sunday, but I need your help.

As Andrea’s campaign manager, it’s my job to keep a close eye on our online fundraising and ensure we’re on track to hit our goals. I just refreshed our numbers to see where we stand on our $8,000 end-of-month grassroots fundraising goal. I’ll be honest, we’re behind, and we’re at risk of falling short of our goal.

This is not the news I wanted to share with you all. Not when election experts are calling our race one of the most competitive in the country, and not when the GOP is spending buckets of cash to run attack ads in Oregon.

The bottom line is: We can’t afford to fall behind. Especially not this early in the race.
