But wait, what's the best way to sharpen your knife? You may have heard about water stones and oil stones, but which one is better?
Let me tell you, as someone who knows a thing or two about knives, the answer is clear: oil stones.
Why oil stones, you ask? Let me tell you why. First of all, oil stones are more durable and last longer than water stones.
Sure water stones are easy for beginners, but...
...they're softer so you'll have to flatten and condition them often - or spend more money buying replacements
On the other hand, oil stones are made from harder material and give you a more reliable experience over time
Do you really want to waste your time and money on something that won't last as long?
So there you have it, folks. If you want to sharpen your knife like Gordon Ramsay, go for the oil stone.
