Hi, it’s Jane Fonda. I’m reaching out with an important message: people across the country are mobilizing June 8-11 to send a clear message to the Biden administration that now is the time to act on fossil fuels.

In 2020, President Biden promised to be a climate president and begin to phase out fossil fuels. While he has secured some key climate victories, he continues to approve new fossil fuel projects that put us on a dangerous path.

It’s time to take action, John. Join our partners in the climate movement for a national week of action from June 8 - 11 to demand President Biden act now to help end the era of fossil fuels.

We need to put pressure on President Biden to use his executive powers to declare a climate emergency and stop approving new oil and gas drilling projects. There is so much at stake as frontline communities bear the brunt of the effects of climate change, we cannot sit idly by.

That’s why I’m asking you to join the national week of climate action to demand President Biden do his part in the fight to end the era of fossil fuels.
