As a veteran and a father to a veteran, Memorial Day weighs heavy on my heart.

‌

It’s a day when I think about those who’ve lost their lives in service to this great nation. It’s also a day that I’m especially grateful for the freedoms those brave men and women defended in uniform. How lucky we are to live in a country filled with people willing to sacrifice to protect us.

As we recognize Memorial Day and remember those who we’ve lost in service, may we be good stewards of the freedom they secured for us and never lose sight of the cost.
