Nikki continues to be on the frontlines fighting for Illinoisans, and her work in May has been no exception. Just this month, Nikki has:
- Announced millions in federal funding coming to our state to improve our railway systems and expand our public transportation options statewide
- Joined her colleagues in demanding increased funding to combat our states' growing food deserts, and
- Advocated on our behalf to help lower gas prices and increase ethanol availability
This is exactly the kind of leadership the people of Illinois’ 13th District deserve, team, and we need to ensure it continues for years to come. But this race is already heating up – not only has a Republican opponent already filed, but national Republicans are eyeing this seat as a must-win to expand their majority. It’s vital we hit every goal right now so we can be prepared for whatever comes our way in attacks.
