I was born to Mexican immigrant parents.

My father worked in manufacturing before getting injured on the job.

But he still managed to work, doing carpentry and repair work on the side. As a young kid, I remember helping my father with his repair work while also working as a paperboy.

My family and I tried our best to make ends meet. It was tough, but we somehow managed.

Friends, right now in CA-27, thousands of families are barely managing to get by financially.

I’m running for Congress to change that. I know firsthand what it’s like to be on the wrong end of a system that’s rigged against regular people.

Growing up, my father taught me to always focus on solutions. And this district is in urgent need of SOLUTIONS to help working families so that they don’t have to live paycheck to paycheck.
