Governor Murphy recently released his proposed Fiscal Year 2024 budget — a plan that promotes affordability, fiscal responsibility, and economic opportunity. It’s a budget that continues to restore our state’s fiscal health and well-being as we focus on improving the lives of taxpayers.

Specifically, it includes record investments in property tax relief, giving hundreds of thousands of New Jersey renters and homeowners a much needed break through the ANCHOR (Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters) program. 

Simply put, that means more money in the taxpayer’s pocket. 

The Governor’s clear focus in his proposed budget is on making everyday life more affordable for working families, the middle class, and our seniors. These record amounts of property tax relief are just one way he’s getting the job done.
