Americans deserve to be told the truth about the state of our government and Republicans' role in holding our economy hostage.
Republicans do not want people to know that their unreasonable demands would effectively cut between 20% to 30% in health care, education, child care, and much more.
The truth is: if Congress failed don't raise the debt ceiling and the global economy collapses, Republicans are at fault. If we default on our debt, if we crash the economy, there is only one person to blame: the Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy.
Despite McCarthy's intransigence, Pramila has been in Congress speaking truth to power. And if we want to ensure that Pramila can continue putting pressure on the right, we need to have her back.
