Our health care system is fundamentally broken, and Medicare for All is the best solution.
John, I'm proud to be an original cosponsor of Medicare for All.
In the wealthiest nation on earth, NO ONE should be without health care. Period.
Last week, I joined Senator Bernie Sanders, Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, and Congresswoman Debbie Dingell to officially introduce the Medicare for All Act of 2023 along with over one hundred cosponsors in the House. We have huge support for Medicare for All in Congress and across the nation, but if we're going to pass this bill in a GOP-led House, we need unprecedented momentum.
That's why I'm writing to you today, John. Will you add your name next to mine on our petition calling for Congress to pass Medicare for All?

Right now, there are 85 million uninsured or underinsured Americans. Medicare for All would guarantee every U.S. resident health care including primary care, dental, vision, prescription drugs, women's reproductive health services, and long-term care.
In addition, Medicare for All would tackle the number one cause of bankruptcy for U.S. families — medical bills. In the wealthiest nation, no one should have to pass up life-saving treatments out of fear of debt or feel the need to start a fundraiser to afford care. We deserve better.
It's time we pass Medicare for All and start putting people over profits. John, will you sign your name now and call on Congress to pass Medicare for All?
Together,
Summer
