JOhn, today is very special:

It's Jennifer's birthday, and it's also our 22nd wedding anniversary.

Simple words cannot express the joy it's been to spend my life and raise a family with Jennifer. Her kindness, warmth, tenacity, and integrity are always on display — no matter what challenges she faces.

I want to surprise her later today with an e-card signed by her strongest supporters – to show her just how appreciated she is by all the people in Northern Virginia that she works for tirelessly. JOhn, will you add your name to wish Jennifer a happy birthday?

Jennifer fights so hard for so many. She proudly defends our democratic institutions, champions equality and freedom, and stands for policies that provide relief and opportunity for the families who need it. And through it all, she continues to be an amazing mother to our boys and the best life partner I could ask for. I can only hope our next 22 years together are as wonderful as the last 22.

I'm so glad that the people of VA-10 have been able to see how incredible Jennifer is for the past few years — the same incredible person who I'm blessed to call the love of my life.
