Hey everybody, Mark here.

Of all the things I’ve accomplished in my life, the one I’m most proud of is being a dad to my two daughters, and a grandpa to my granddaughter Sage.

It’s her 2nd birthday this Monday.

I spend a lot of time wondering who she will become and what things will be like when she grows up. It’s part of the reason the work I do in the Senate is so important to me. I want to be able to give her and every child growing up right now a life full of opportunities.

But after the Dobbs decision at the Supreme Court last year, one of the things that really stuck with me was that Sage was going to grow up with less rights than my grandmother had. That’s just not how things are supposed to go here in the United States.

And we can turn that around.

The only way to do that is to hold the Oval Office, win more seats in the Senate, and take back the House in 2024. Then we’ll be able to stop any attempts at a national ban on abortion, and we can work towards enshrining the protections from Roe into law.

For now though, I have to ask you: Will you join me in calling on my colleagues in Congress to stand against any further restrictions on abortion, and to protect the right to choose?
