NC's irrelevant Democrat Governor, Roy Cooper, has lashed out at the people of North Carolina.
Now, you have to understand the background.
Cooper kept NC in a State of Emergency over COVID for FAR longer than he needed to. In fact, he abused that power so much that the legislature actually changed the law to shorten the allowable time of a State of Emergency.
So, fast forward to 2023. Cooper lost the courts; Republicans have supermajorities in both houses; the courts' Democrat gerrymander is overturned; and Voter ID has been reinstated. And Cooper is getting overridden over and over in the legislature.
So in the face of based legislation to enact school choice in North Carolina, Governor Cooper did what Democrats always do- he declared a nonsense State of Emergency to stop the school choice legislation.
No, I'm not joking.
This is Sandy Smith, and I am running for Congress so I can end the Democrat nonsense- including these illegal, crazy States of Emergency. I will also seek national school choice legislation to give clarity to this issue!
Shutting down society to get what they want- it's what Democrats like Roy Cooper do best.
He's a disgusting extremist. Over 70% of Democrats even support school choice- including huge majorities of Black voters! School choice is the #1 issue in my Congressional district.
That's why, in Congress, I will propose a nationwide school choice law. It's time to end the tyranny of Cooper and his allies in the unions and the Democrat Party.
