• Texas ranks 2nd in the nation for the number of young voters
• Texas ranks 3rd in the nation for the number of colleges and universities

BUT…

• Texas has the 3rd LOWEST voter registration rate among young people
• Young Texans turned out at 21% in 2022—compared to 23% nationally

From day one, Ground Game Texas has focused on registering and mobilizing young voters. It’s why many of our campaigns have been launched in college towns. And it’s why we’ve focused on issues young voters want to see action on—from abortion, to marijuana, to wages, to climate.
