taking action to ensure everyday people in Western Pennsylvania and
communities like it have the health care they need to thrive, not just
survive.

FIRST: Summer joined Democrats in introducing the Green New Deal for
Health because we know that the fights for climate justice and health
justice are intersectional.

THEN: Summer was an original co-sponsor of the Medicare for All Act of
2023 to advance our fight to ensure every U.S. resident has guaranteed
access to the care they need from primary care including reproductive
health to dental, vision, and long-term care.

NEXT: Summer introduced her first bill, the Hazard Pay for Health Care
Heroes Act, to strengthen protections for health care workers during
health emergencies or extreme weather disasters.
