ensuring that we fight to raise the debt ceiling without any cuts to
critical programs like SNAP:

Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Republicans are trying to make cuts to critical
and life-saving programs like SNAP and Medicaid by implementing harsh work
requirements.

It is immoral for a country to give tax breaks for private jets and yachts
and then work to destabilize people’s lives by threatening to cut vital
social services. Justice Democrats in Congress are holding the line
against Republicans who are working to strip people of critical programs.
