A few weeks back, CNN held a televised town hall for Trump where
Republican and undecided voters got to ask questions. 

While the town hall had over 3.3 million viewers tune in to watch Trump
peddle lies and misinformation about the 2020 election and the January 6th
insurrection, CNN’s decision to give the former President a platform may
have permanently injured the cable news giant’s brand. 

The week following the town hall, CNN saw its lowest ratings in over seven
years. While we don’t know precisely why CNN’s ratings dropped so
drastically, it’s not hard to imagine audiences losing trust and tuning
out.

Courier Newsroom was founded on the belief that voters are tired of
mainstream media outlets giving a platform to bad actors like Trump just
so they can pop a big rating. 

That’s why we do things differently. Our reporters don’t spread bad
information — instead, they call it out. They provide honest, accessible
local news stories that are focused on the facts that viewers (and voters)
need to know.

As the presidential race picks up, our reporters are ready to pick up the
