Hi there, I'm Becca, Joe Biden's Chief Analytics Officer. Here's an update on our plan to power Joe Biden to victory in this primary:

It takes more than winning the first state to caucus to secure the Democratic nomination. Only about 1% of the delegates needed to win the nomination have been allocated thus far. We've planned for the long haul and are full-steam-ahead on the rest of the 99%.

New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina, and all of the Super Tuesday states and beyond are up for grabs, and we need to raise $200,000 by midnight to reach more voters in these states and nationwide next week.

I wouldn't ask if this weren't urgent. Lots of states have already begun early voting, and we need your support to reach every undecided voter. Will you chip in $5 to elect Joe Biden today?

It's going to take all of us pitching in every day to win this primary.

But it's going to be hard. And even harder to beat Donald Trump in November. It's up to us to nominate the best candidate to do it, and that's Joe Biden.

There's no doubt that this primary will have even more twists and turns, so we need to be prepared for whatever happens, and every dollar you contribute ensures we have the resources to do just that. Our plans include careful and thoughtful targeting, guided by data and analytics, so we can ensure we are putting your funds to the most effective use possible.

So please, can Joe Biden and I count on you to chip in today? According to our records, $5 or more from you would make a huge impact now.
