John, here’s what we’re looking at if we’re going to kick
Republicans out of power in the Senate:

Flip 3 Senate Seats
Defend 3 Senate Democrats
Defeat Donald Trump

There are 3 Senate Democrats in tough races:

Alabama
Michigan
New Hampshire

That’s why yesterday, DFA members raised thousands to defend Alabama
Senator Doug Jones, after he voted to convict Trump despite the political
risks. But let’s not kid ourselves, that’s going to be an especially hard
race to win. Fortunately, there are as many as 12 competitive Senate races
on the map. The top tier is 7 seats in 6 states:

Maine
Arizona
Colorado
Iowa
North Carolina
Georgia (2 races)

Don’t count out the tier two Senate races! In 2018, Democratic candidates
got 9.7 million more votes than Republicans did creating a wave election
that flipped control of the House. We’re mobilizing the grassroots
movement creating the next wave and putting 5 more Senate races in play:

South Carolina
Texas
Kentucky
Alaska
Mississippi
