Last week we released a heartbreaking undercover investigation which was conducted inside a Tyson Foods contracted facility, Jannat Farm. What our investigation revealed was egregious cruelty and the shocking neglect of over 150,000 birds from the time they were newborn chicks until they were sent to slaughter. The abuses we witnessed weren’t aberrations - it’s clear from the investigation that this type of treatment is standard.
These birds are only a few of the billions of farmed animals who suffer each year in the U.S. alone. In the last two decades, our brave undercover investigators have put their health and safety at risk to expose the truth that the animal agriculture industry tries so hard to hide. A gruesome, devastating, and unacceptable truth.
