Officer Scott Patrick Memorial 5K
On Saturday, June 3, we will gather to celebrate the life and service of Mendota Heights Police Officer Scott Patrick, with the 18th Annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk. Officer Patrick was killed in the line of duty in June 2014; and each year, the Officer Scott Patrick Memorial 5K is held in his memory, to support Special Olympics Minnesota and Northern Dakota County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon.

Thank You, Girl Scouts!
Girl Scout Troops 57911 and 57392 earned their Outdoor Take Action badges by helping remove buckthorn at Valley Park last Monday evening. The Scouts cut and hauled buckthorn from the understory of a forested area within Valley Park and seeded a previously cleared area with native ground cover plant species. The troops are comprised of 3rd-7th graders and are current or former Somerset Elementary students.
