If you missed Twitter… you didn’t miss much! Ron DeSantis officially announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election — but not without many hiccups foreshadowing what a mess a DeSantis presidency could look like. We have to do everything we can to fight back against his mega donors and dangerous policies. We’ve known this was coming for awhile, but we need to make sure we tell you some of the most alarming pieces:
DeSantis just signed a terrifying abortion ban into law that could hurt millions of Floridians.
He’s worked to ban books in Florida’s schools.
He has suspended a prosecutor for doing their job.
He’s voted to harm Social Security and Medicare.
He’s given special access to some of his wealthy GOP mega donors.
He’s attacked companies for their support of Florida’s LGBTQ+ community.
This list can be a little scary — but Dem AGs repeatedly sued Donald Trump and won when he behaved like this, and they won’t hesitate to do it again.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and we can't stop now – will you chip in today?
