Hi folks,
This is going to be one of the longest emails I send you, so I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to read it over.
I want to outline below how my team and I intend to work together to keep Michigan blue and retake control of the House.
That’s why I’m humbly asking: Will you make an urgent donation of $25 to arm us with the resources to win in Michigan and retake the House? We’re currently behind on our monthly fundraising goal and need your help to catch up.

Step One: Organize, Organize, Organize
National Republicans have poured millions of dollars into Michigan. With multiple toss-up races on the ballot this cycle, it’s not a matter of if they’re going to do it again, but when.
I won my previous three elections by doing listening tours, visiting small businesses, and talking to voters year-round. And that’s what we need to do across the country.
As the new Frontline Vice Chair, I plan to use my position to help frontline candidates organize throughout their states and talk with voters about the niche issues that are important to them. Your grassroots donations have helped me run a successful organizing operation in the past, and I know we can do it all over again.
Step Two: Put People First
I am proud to stand up to the gun lobby, predatory student loan companies, and Big Pharma giants that continue to increase the price of life-saving medications.
That’s the only way we’re going to keep our communities safe, ensure that every American can access a quality education, and help the millions of Americans who struggle with rising health care costs.
But that also means outside groups are going to do everything they can to silence my voice and other Democrats who share our values.
This campaign has always been powered by supporters like you, not shady special interests who want to push an agenda that enriches their own pocketbooks. We will continue to stand up to special interests that threaten our Democratic agenda.
Step Three: Focus On The Issues That Matter
Part of the reason I was able to persuade swing voters in a historically Republican district was by focusing on the issues that matter.
For some, that’s big picture issues like addressing climate change or finding ways to support small businesses and manufacturers here at home.
For others, it’s the issues that don’t get so much attention such as helping municipal recycling programs or increasing funding for STEM programs geared toward young students.
Both are incredibly important and I make it a priority to have these conversations, whether I’m talking to a Democrat or a Republican. Uniting voters across issues is exactly how we win.
Outside groups are trying to distract from Democrats’ work on the issues that matter. That’s why we send you emails like these, so we can have the resources to respond and set the record straight – on hot button and obscure policy issues alike.
I’m more than ready to lay it all on the line to keep Michigan blue and retake the House – but right now, my team is telling me we’re falling behind on our monthly fundraising goal. That’s why I’m asking: Will you pitch in $25 to help us keep up the work?
