I’m writing to ask you to send a donation to Eric Sorensen's reelection effort in IL-17. Let me explain why:

If you don't know, Eric's district is quickly emerging as ground zero in our shared efforts to retake the House.

Right now, Republicans are raising and spending record sums to flip key districts like Eric's. He was recently named one of their "top targets" in the coming election, and they're already going into attack mode against him.

National Republicans have launched a wave of digital ads attacking him. This is the earliest we've seen the Republicans dump cash into attack ads in years.

Friend, Eric’s only been in office for five months, but has already proven to be a strong champion for working families in Illinois and across the country.

We cannot afford to let his seat fall into GOP hands, but the reality is that his campaign will need to raise millions to win. I know how challenging that can be, but it's so important that we continue to show strength.

Today, I'm hoping for as many grassroots donations as possible to give Eric the boost needed to counter the attacks headed his way.
