I wish I was reaching out with better news, but the truth is the GOP’s attacks on me have ramped up in recent days.

First, the National Republicans named me as a top 2024 target, indicating that they see defeating me as a crucial part of their plan to hold on to power. Then, they put their money where their mouth is by launching an attack ad against me and my fellow House Democrats. Now, we’ve learned that the ad was just the beginning, and the GOP is gearing up to throw even more misleading attacks our way.

The truth is the GOP is attacking me because they can’t run on their own record.

They know that when Americans hear the truth about Kevin McCarthy and House Republicans attacking abortion access, attempting to defund Medicare, Social Security, and the VA, carving out loopholes for mega corporations, and threatening to throw the American economy into default, voters will turn their backs on the GOP. So instead of running with the truth, they’re going all-in on attack ads and lies.
