This fall, Bloomington, Minneapolis, Minnetonka, St. Paul, and St. Louis Park will use Ranked Choice Voting for their municipal elections. Successful ranked-choice elections are critical not only for those cities and their voters but also for helping us to advance this reform statewide.

To ensure successful RCV elections this fall with dozens of highly competitive races on the ballot, it is critical that we reach voters in all five cities and encourage them to rank their vote –– starting with community events this summer!

Volunteer with FairVote Minnesota and help us educate voters by:

• Reaching out to voters at community events;
• Knocking on doors to distribute RCV voter education material;
• Phone banking and texting information on voter education and encouraging people to rank their vote!

You don’t need to live in the five cities to help –– you can phone bank and text from wherever you live! If you do live in the Twin Cities and can help with voter outreach, we have several upcoming tabling events: 

• Grand Old Day, Sunday, June 4
• Open Streets East Lake Street, Saturday, June 10 
• Minneapolis Juneteenth in Bethune Park, Saturday, June 17
