A.G. Holder has an important message:
"We are witnessing a deliberate and coordinated assault on our democracy, state by state."
He’s spot on, team.
In Tennessee, the gerrymandered Republican legislature expelled two duly-elected Black lawmakers.
In Florida, Republicans are advancing yet another anti-democratic voter suppression bill.
In Mississippi, conservatives are threatening our democratic values by attempting to remove power from Black voters.
In Virginia, the Republican governor has reinstituted a Jim Crow-era policy that disproportionately disenfranchises black voters.
So here’s what the NDRC is doing about it:
✔ Shining a spotlight on upcoming elections that are critical to preserving our democracy.
✔ Mobilizing our grassroots network nationwide.
✔ Advocating for fair maps and voting rights.
✔ Investing resources to support candidates who will defend free and fair elections.
✔ And so much more!

"Our work to end gerrymandering and to protect fair maps requires dedication, persistence, and a willingness to keep going even when the odds seem stacked against us. . . .
We must act with urgency and optimism.”
So please: Will you take action today?
