We are blessed with a strong and proud military, and they deserve a clear mission, the tools to accomplish it, and robust care when they get home.

Our district is home to a proud tradition of active and retired military service members.
Every single one of them is a treasured member of our community, and together, they make America the thriving, prosperous, secure, and free place that we all know it to be.
This month has been designated as Military Appreciation Month – frankly, I think that should be every month, but it does serve as a good reminder that our service members and veterans deserve unequivocal support from members of Congress that should have their best interests in mind.

We can never fully repay the veterans who have sacrificed so much in defense of our country. But I work hard every day in Washington to make sure we honor their service in every way possible.
It's Congress' duty to act in those realms and put their money where their mouth is to ensure we are treating our veterans with the respect they deserve.
So today, let’s all take a moment to show our troops that TX-21 appreciates their sacrifice – they’ve more than earned it.
