Before the end of each month, we review our fundraising numbers and calculate how much we need to raise to fund our work electing pro-immigrant candidates and building political power.
In our latest review, we saw something that is a little concerning: Our number of sustaining monthly donors isn’t where it needs to be, meaning we don’t have enough recurring monthly contributions to meet our needs ahead of Election Day on November 5, 2024.
To ensure we have the resources ahead of the consequential 2024 elections, we need dedicated supporters like you to join our sustaining donor program. Monthly recurring contributions allow NILC-IJF to continue planning and making progress for immigrants with low income. You can help us stay prepared to take on the many challenges ahead of the upcoming elections.
When we add up monthly commitments of any size, it creates a pool to help us keep up the pace in fighting for an inclusive future. It doesn’t take as much as you may think to make a difference as a sustaining donor. We calculated some suggested amounts you can pledge and the impact you will make by Election Day:
- $3 a month through Election Day = $51
- $5 monthly totals $85 by Election Day
- $10 a month adds up to $170 by Election Day
