BREAKING —

Today, South Carolina's devastating ban on abortion after roughly 6 weeks of pregnancy went into effect. Together with Planned Parenthood, we filed a lawsuit on behalf of South Carolina abortion providers and are seeking emergency relief. We'll need you with us as we continue to pursue every legal avenue to ensure attempts to further restrict abortion access do not succeed.

URGENT: YOUR HELP NEEDED

Just over four months ago, the South Carolina Supreme Court struck down a nearly identical law, ruling that it violated the state constitution. In that ruling, the South Carolina Supreme Court’s lead opinion stated that the ban was an “unreasonable restriction upon a woman's right to privacy.”

As you know, many people do not even know they are pregnant at six weeks, and this ban allows for only very narrow exceptions should the pregnancy not be viable or pose serious risks. We know abortion bans create chaos and confusion for patients and providers and ultimately put people's lives at risk. We've successfully fought bans like these all over the country—including in South Carolina already.

We’re ready to give this fight everything we’ve got, but it’s going to take all of us, together, to fight forward for our essential reproductive rights. Are you with us?

In solidarity,
