Race + Power Weekly

This week’s Race + Power Weekly focuses on the importance of understanding and nurturing voices to create impactful narratives. First, episode three of “Off the Hook,” NPQ’s Edge Studios’ new socials series, is out now. Next, the final article from NPQ’s Spring 2023 issue by Cyndi Suarez on the duty of social change leaders to connect with and speak truth. Then, how reading Black writers teaches us to construct and deconstruct stories to shift the narrative. Finally, NPQ is looking for climate fiction to feature in the Fall 2023 Climate Justice issue.

Episode Three of “Off the Hook” Is Out Now

Our right to a home. A home within our larger community, a nest, a sanctuary. What does home mean to you? Let us know in the comments of this Youtube link, or on Instagram, TikTok (@offthehookshorts) or Twitter (@off_da_hook_). Click here to watch episode three of the series. And follow @npquarterly and @offthehookshorts on social to see new episodes of “Off the Hook” as they are released.
