Americans deserved better. President Trump's State of the Union address sowed division, not unity.
He did not lay out an agenda for supporting the needs and well-being of America's children and families. He did not provide any details on how he will spend the final year of his term lifting up middle-class families who are struggling. He did not explain how he will protect the integrity of our elections from foreign interference.
Instead, he doubled-down on the same failed corporate agenda once again.
If President Trump won't repair the damage he's done to our nation, it's up to us. Will you help me build a new Democratic Senate majority by chipping in $10 today?
In the three years since President Trump took office, he has never made America's children a priority.
His ties to corporate special interests and dark money super PACs have skewed his priorities and leave behind a generation of children who need us to fight for them.
