John, yesterday I spoke on behalf of the Congressional Progressive Caucus on the House floor and stood up for working families.
"What Republicans are doing right now is reckless and irresponsible , and it's all to try to win in 2024."
Friend, this fight is personal. I'll explain why, but first:
I'm quickly becoming a target for GOP extremists because I stand up for working families. My 2024 campaign is going to be much tougher than my last one, and I'm counting on early fundraising in order to win. With our End of Month Fundraising Deadline right around the corner, will you chip in any amount you can? [[link removed]]

John, I want to dive right in – this is a personal fight because I've seen the consequences of under-investing in our communities.
Throughout my life, I've seen people struggling with homelessness also struggle with food insecurity. That's why I understand the life-saving value of programs like SNAP.
I've seen my father struggle to afford his healthcare costs. That's why I fight so hard to expand programs like Medicaid, not cut them.
As they've gotten older, I've seen both of my parents – who have worked so hard and sacrificed so much – struggle to pay their bills. And that's why I'm taking steps to protect programs like Social Security.
And the terrifying reality is that if we let these extremist Republicans have their way, the situation for millions of Americans will only get worse.
Whether it's speaking on the House floor or organizing my community, I've never backed away from a fight.
John, my colleagues at the Congressional Progressive Caucus and I are working around the clock to find a solution to this issue. I'm putting in the work to protect working families, and I need a strong grassroots coalition early on to fight back against GOP extremism. Will you make a donation toward our End of Month Fundraising Goal before the deadline? [[link removed]]
