Before everyone starts heading out for the holiday, I want to take a second to talk about what this long weekend means for our campaign.
The end-of-month deadline is May 31st -- that’s only a few days away! [[link removed]] As Finance Director, I track our numbers to make sure we’re reaching our goals and I’ll be spending a lot of time with our campaign’s Excel fundraising spreadsheet between now and the deadline on Wednesday.
I know -- it might not sound exciting, but nothing makes me happier than this team working together to reach our goals and you all have absolutely crushed it so far.
Because the deadline falls right after a long weekend, we’re expecting to see the typical slowdown in contributions. But here’s the thing: We can’t afford any slow months or downtime.
We’re facing a tough race in 2024, which raises the stakes for hitting these benchmarks. Any amount you can chip in before logging off for the weekend would help a lot. [[link removed]]
