Fox News just lashed out and attacked Ayanna because she said that all public transportation should be free, and we shouldn’t criminalize folks who can’t afford to pay fares.
Ayanna has been leading the fight for transportation equity in Congress — in October of last year she co-founded the Future of Transportation Caucus to make progress on this critical issue.
For years, transportation systems in the MA-07 and across the country have exacerbated inequality — forcing many of our neighbors to pay more, endure long commutes, and lose precious time with loved ones. Access to public transportation is a social justice issue, and we should never criminalize someone because they can’t afford the fare.
Fox News is lashing out at Ayanna because they are terrified of the bold, visionary policies that we are fighting for. We need you to have Ayanna’s back in this critical moment when she is under attack.
